As the calendar turns to a new year, exciting progress continues at Legendary Marina Resort at Blue Water Cay in Nassau, The Bahamas. The January construction update reflects a strong start to 2025 preparations, bringing us closer to the grand opening of this world-class marina destination. The Legendary team remains focused on delivering a facility that combines functionality, luxury, and innovation for its future Members.
One of the highlights this month includes dredging of the channel to open up the entrance area, creating improved access for vessels. At the same time, the revetment wall is being placed along the banks to ensure a secure and stable marina environment. These efforts are pivotal in shaping the marina’s functionality and long term resilience.
Additional on-site progress shows significant advancement in marina infrastructure. The installation of aluminum docks is well underway, with these state-of-the-art structures designed for durability, aesthetics, and ease of use. Built to withstand a variety of conditions, these docks are designed with boaters in mind.
Offsite, work continues at a fast pace to prepare for the marina’s fall opening. Production of marina electrical equipment is underway, along with building fabrication and the assembly of the largest marina forklift ever produced in collaboration with Wiggins Lift Co. These developments are vital to delivering a cutting-edge marina that meets the needs of Members and visitors alike.
