Take a Behind the Scenes Look at Blue Water Cay Marina Resort

Momentum at Blue Water Cay continues to build as we move deeper into summer, keeping us on track for our December 1, 2025 grand opening and bringing us one step closer to delivering a world-class marina experience tailored for Bahamian boaters.
This month, our Category 5 hurricane-rated dry storage facility is taking shape, with interior geometry designed to house center consoles up to 55 feet long and over 50,000 lbs. Phase One is set to accommodate approximately 300 boats indoors, with Phase Two nearly doubling that capacity.

Meanwhile, inside the facility’s corner, 21 dedicated service slips are being readied for marine service and repair—including top-tier brands like Yamaha, Volvo, and Mercury—all fully protected from the elements.
Below your feet, construction is built to last. The concrete driving surface, designed for heavy daily load, is 12 inches thick, 6,000 psi, and reinforced with structural keyways for decades of trouble-free service.
We’re also elevating convenience—three 12,000-gallon fuel tanks, split between marine diesel and gasoline, are being installed. This means when your boat’s ready to go, it’ll already be fueled—eliminating the need for you to stop and fill up.
Lastly, to ensure long-term resilience, the entire site has been raised from 4–5 feet to about 9–10 feet above sea level to safeguard against storm surge.
With every beam, slab, and tank in place, Blue Water Cay is raising the bar for marina development in The Bahamas. For more information on reserving your spot at Blue Water Cay, please visit https://legendarybluewatercay.com/reserve-dockage/ or call 850.585.4000
